Hey chickies, sorry I've been about as consistent as Laci Green with my online presence. (Okay, Laci, I love you until the end of time. Just sayin'.)
I've spent most of this gorgeous winter break with family, discovering that maybe I'm not meant to be an artist. I've taken a giant break from it, and just because you love something doesn't mean you should turn it into your only redeeming quality. I actually love the idea of going into sex education and world relations, bringing empowering tools to youth in areas who otherwise would go unprepared into this world.

Bonjour, Good people of DeviantArt.
So, I got a commission to paint three, adorable little kids! They've all got really wide, honest smiles. Often as I was laying down the outlines, I found myself with a HUGE grin on my face, in a concentrated effort to do justice to those wonderful expressions... Maybe if I start painting more smiling children, I'll release more endorphins or something. O.o

So, my mom and sister just treated me to a very sweet sixteen; they woke me up with presents, we went out for breakfast, went to the beach, and I got to eat my favorite dessert in my favorite pajama pants and my favorite Wicked sweater.
